Arrival

After a long day of travel, Karina and I have finally made it to New York City. After getting (slightly) lost after exiting the train station, we’ve now settled into our AirBnB rental in the Washington Heights neighborhood. And along with eating some delicious Venezuelan-style burgers from a nearby joint, we’re watching Netflix and making plans for tomorrow!

We’re going to get an early start and visit Hamilton Grange National Memorial-the former homestead of Alexander Hamilton! Then we’ll head to lower Manhattan to Trinity Church for a ceremony and scholarly talk celebrating Hamilton’s life and legacy.
